Hello again all Webbers seeking enlightenment! As a regular attendee at most County Council and County Committee Meetings, since the last election 2 years ago, I believe I have the honour, on behalf of all of us in Wellington County, to record publicly, my considered fair measurement of the performances to the Protocols and Pre-requisite behaviours, required of our elected Representatives and Senior Staff.
Up until recently the notice of intent to sue me, (notice dated October 28th, 2008) and posted, we at Smelly-Welly.com have planned a more formal and detailed format, to be introduced to fair report our assessment of the performance of Council and Senior Staff. However, after review, we have decided to hold back on our Justification Evidence at this time,(deleted), if I did not heed their threats! Pure arrogance!
Being the Cowards, and by association, Bullies, which they are, they assumed once again to intimidate and bully their way to my “cowering withdrawal,” They are greatly misguided. I now ask “(Deleted), do you have the courage for Court?” I hope so, at long last! Riverbend, (deleted), Riverbend!
Our evidentiary hold back, pending trial, has driven our amendment to our presentation of the Mid-term Report Card. We hope you approve! We report this in support of :
Warden John Green – Static grade (D+), Performance for Taxpayers (F). Warden Green has been a miserable failure, after much expectations, even after the 8 to 8 tie result with Whitcombe in 2006. We looked for leadership, we received capitulation to the (deleted) team. John, I assume you will keep your word, given to me “On the Witness Stand, I will tell the truth.” You will get the opportunity, thanks to your previous Tormentors!
Councillor Barb McKay – Static (D-), Performance for Taxpayers (F). (Deleted), as was her deal for Election. Maintained her “pig at the trough reputation” from Puslinch and contributed nothing in 2 years on County Council! Consumed much food, to offset her grocery bills! Shame? Carroll Pond, Riverbend Park, Little Tract, Corwhin Highlands, Mill Creek/Mini-Lakes pollution etc, etc!
Councillor Mike Broomhead – Static (E+), Performance for Taxpayers (E). With new Councillors Burns, Johnson, Maieron, Clark et al of the class of 2003, Mike showed great promise and potential, but with arrogance, (deleted) never to again have any independent thought, seriously considered! Poor man has the opinion he can be Warden now! Yeah – sure!
Councillor Walter Trachsel – Static (C), Performance for Taxpayers (E). Walter once told me I had “great perception!” Here it is Walter! Walter does not enjoy being a Councillor forced to work in the County prevailing conditions of the tail wagging the dog. He is a good genuinely caring person, who thought he could make a difference, but once inside, with a track record of “do nothing,” intentionally produced, he can’t wait for November 2010, at which time he will remove himself from this style of Politics! A great pity, he is a decent man! He suffers from conscience and guilt. Take heart Walter, your Decency will never leave you and you will continue to be recognized for this!
Councillor Carl Hall – Static (D+), Performance for Taxpayers (D). Carl, like every “True Farmer,” is a decent human being, finding himself in a place he never would have believed possible! He is obliged to toe the line and follow the (deleted). He knows he is being manipulated but lacks the courage in his senior years to say no. This will be his last (2) years, which will be painfully long for him to endure. In this Hell of a Council, he is out of his depth, and it shows in the Roads Committee, i.e. Carroll Pond Municipal Drain, Winston Churchill Blvd. He will leave with much guilt on his conscience.
Councillor Rod Finnie – Static (A), Performance for Taxpayers (B).
One of the true representatives of the Taxpayers and recognizes what his duties are and to whom, Rod continues to work, most times alone, which is a fault, because he has cocooned himself to be protected. One can understand his caution, but lately has shown signs of the emergence of the Butterfly within. I know he wants to be a Team Player but is reluctant to confide in those he secretly admires for their special talents. Rod is consistent in his desire to serve all of Wellington County Residents and Erin and this Council are fortunate to have such consistency in representation.
Councillor Robert Wilson – Static (D-), Performance for Taxpayers (C). Bob is a good man at heart but suffers acutely from Cognizant Dissonance, the engine of Self-Justification, when it comes to Solid Waste, his nemesis of “blind non-reality!” Bob, the rest of the World is moving away from Landfills and embracing the Blue Box/Organic Process/Recyclers! Come join reality Robert, stop this self-whipping. It’s not bad, or weak, to admit an honest mistake, to have the wrong opinion and to be proven so! Admit it and move on.
Councillor David Anderson – Static (C+), Performance for Taxpayers (E). David is a decent man, from Minto, inexperienced in the Snake Pit type of environment  which is Wellington County Council, and he is woefully out of his depth here and struggles to understand what it’s all about. His membership and contribution  to the A.F.&P. Committee has been understandably Inept, exposing his inexperience. Give him (6) years he could be a Player, if he has the guile to stay clean. (Deleted)! David, Burns sat at the other half of the Horseshoe; do you believe you sat where you sit by chance?
Councillor (deleted) – Static (F), Performance for Taxpayers (F). We shall reserve our comments for trial before Madam Justice. (Deleted)!
Councillor Lou Maieron – Static (B+), Performance for Taxpayers (B+). Lou, for the first 18 months of this 2-year term, was a very frustrated Councillor to many who did not have the capacity to understand where he was coming from. With the “new babes” of Johnson, Burns, Broomhead, Clarke, Martin and Spicer etc, Lou brought new life to an arguably “Dying Chamber,” being led by previous “deadbeats of Wardens” Hall, Lynda White and David Adsett, who was then voted out of office in time for the re-emergence of Whitcombe. Lou had (2) years of Whitcombe, which proved to be his long awaited awakening to reality of how this thing worked! Since then, through his Intelligence and suppressed eloquence and writing skills, expressively aroused, he has demonstrated Leadership Skills and all, much to the dismay and exposure to threat, to those who would dismiss him as an uneducated, 2nd generation Canadian of Italian extraction, a dumb Fish Farmer, with a B. Sc! This can’t be true! Our Lou – a B.Sc?! Smelly-Welly.com has enjoyed his emergence with relish! What took you so long? Maybe now you will take your rightful place in Council – Ignore your Critics’ Inadequacies and lead with your well-earned capabilities. That, Councillors, is why he is rated as the Benchmark against which all of you are measured! Don’t reject him, “Dummies,” follow him and (deleted). Yokes! It’s long overdue! Right John Green?
Councillor Gord Tosh – Static (B), Performance for Taxpayers (D).
Gord continuously displays his sincerity when it comes to humanely sensitive social issues. He is a consistent performer of quality service as Chairman of the Seniors & Social Services Committee. Nobody does it better! But this is not enough, there are other important issues to consider. Without the Social Services performance he would have failed in performance!
Councillor Jean Innes – Static (A), Performance for Taxpayers (C+).
Jean is a dedicated, caring person who recognizes the responsibility she has, as a Taxpayers Representative in this Council. She is more than occasionally frustrated by the Ineptitude of many of her fellow Councillors, but too much of a Lady, and a professional, to confront them with “friendly persuasion.” Jean has not come to terms with the fact that she is “different” from them, and that she must find a way to apply this “difference” for the betterment of all! She is a performer and must be encouraged! Good Job Jean!
Councillor Lynda White – Static (E), Performance for Taxpayers (E). Lynda, through her manipulation of the process to Violate Section 122 of the Criminal Code (Johnson et al) etc, will answer to Madam Justice sooner than she thinks. Go Figure.
Councillor Mark McKenzie – Static (E), Performance for Taxpayers (F). Mark is an Enigma, why run for office if you have no capacity or intention to participate. Only here for the money, Mark?
Councillor Chris White – Static (C+), Performance for Taxpayers (C).
Chris is a County Councillor for the wrong reasons. After (2) years of consideration exposure to measure, I am convinced this County sojourn is perceived as a stepping-stone on the way to higher elevations. In my long experience, I have met him many times before but under different names with the same plan i.e. Self-Promotion. It is also my experience that, religiously, all who would use this process, fail miserably because they have ignored the reality that you can go nowhere without people putting little “X’s” in little boxes. Chris is a “Shooting Star” with a short life span in this night sky. What a waste of potential. Green was right! He knows what I mean and to what I refer. Change your ways Chris, you only have (2) years.
Councillor Joanne Ross-Zuj – Static (C), Performance for Taxpayers (E+). After only (2) years on County Council, Joanne has behaved with a somewhat transparent lack of understanding of the Rules of Leadership based on years of experience. Her Childish, yet Sulking Behaviour, after her failed bid to aspire to the Chairmanship, of the very influential A.F.&P. Committee of 2008, personified her lack of experience, but made her an ideal Candidate for Seduction (deleted). In the current race, determined by outside manipulations, she may emerge, after 2 years service, as Warden. Joanne, beware the “Ides of November, 2008.” With all of the impending Investigations about to mature in Spring 2009, and all means of ownership responsibility, do you wonder why you have on opponents for the Warden’s job? Mike Broomhead has at last got the message! Before you can Win, you must first learn how to Lose! Joanne, last year’s immature display after the Election of that year, plus your transparent lack of leadership skills of 2008, gives you No Credibility! 2009 will be very interesting! You are no Leader, always “testing for understanding!” The Warden’s job is not for the “Puppet Mentality.” The Taxpayers demand and expect Leadership after the last (4) years of total inept Governance resulting in all of the legal issues on the table. Maybe “Sacrificial Lamb” is applicable here, manipulating your self-interests?
All Senior Staff listed – i.e. (deleted), Craig Dyer, Gary Cousins, Gord Ough and Donna Van Wyck, have been graded for Static Measure. Smelly-Welly.com has, at this time, decided not to Measure Performance! We shall, after all the evidence is heard (deleted), submit our final Report Cards related to Staff.
We believe we have been honest and fair with the preceding appraisals and comments. Smelly-Welly.com will go forward fully loaded with factual truths, which we will share with all Taxpayers and other vested persons.
